4 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin is expected to play on Thursday against New Jersey, despite missing some practice time this week with a lower-body injury. However, the Capitals will still be without Lars Eller, who is listed day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Ovechkin has been very durable throughout his career and rarely misses any games, so it's no surprise to see him battling through a slight knock. The Great Eight has been on fire this month with seven goals in 10 games, and he's always been a thorn in New Jersey's side with 32 goals and 66 points in 61 career games. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
