6 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin scored twice in the second period of Thursday's 6-4 loss against the Montreal Canadiens. Ovechkin was a minus-two with four shots, six hits, and one block in the contest. He continues to be a fantasy monster as he has 10 goals, six assists, eight power-play points, 43 shots, and 31 hits through 11 games this season. If you own Ovechkin, you have a good shot at winning your league. He has never scored less than 30 goals in his 13 NHL seasons, offers peripherals most superstars fail to deliver, and consistently finishes near the top of the league in power-play points.
