3 years agoWashington Capitals legendary sniper Alex Ovechkin collected two goals in a 3-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings Friday. The Russian winger netted both of his tallies in the third period. Ovechkin sits in third in the NHL in points with 24 goals and 26 helpers just behind Edmonton teammates Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid. He is fourth place in all-time goal scoring. If a fantasy manager is lucky enough to have Ovechkin on their roster, he should continue to put up points as Washington is playing very well, and he rarely gets injured.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
