7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Alex Reyes (elbow) was activated from the 60-day disabled list and will make Wednesday's start. Mike Mayers was optioned to Triple-A and Dominic Leone was transferred to the 60-day disabled list in corresponding moves. Reyes is fully recovered from Tommy John Surgery and absolutely dominated his four minor league rehab appearances, not allowing a single run and striking out 44 batters in 23 innings. He allegedly won't be on any kind of an innings limit this season, although he's likely to have to stick to a fairly stringent pitch limit per start. Still, he needs to be in a starting lineup in all formats, as his upside is sky high.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
