7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Alex Reyes was placed on the disabled list on Thursday due to a right lat strain. Reyes made his season debut on Wednesday, returning from Tommy John surgery. He was excellent in the first inning but began to struggle with his control and saw a dip in his velocity in the following innings. There's no word yet on how long he'll be out, but it's a huge blow after he'd gone through the 16-month recovery process for Tommy John surgery. Reyes has enough upside to warrant stashing him in all leagues.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
