4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Alex Reyes pitched another scoreless inning on Monday, collecting his 17th save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Miami Marlins. Reyes came into the ninth inning with a two-run lead and made quick work of the inning, retiring the side in order while throwing only 10 pitches (nine strikes). Reyes has been amazing despite almost every metric showing he's due for regression. It still hasn't hit, and Reyes will take a 0.84 ERA into his next outing.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
