3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Alex Reyes hit the regression wall as hard as possible on Tuesday, costing the Cardinals the game. Reyes came in to a bases loaded situation and allowed all three runs to score. Besides those three, he allowed three of his own runs to score on two hits and two walks. All of this happened while Reyes only recorded one out. He faced five batters and threw 30 pitches, but got just one out and was at least partly responsible for allowing six runs. It was his first blown save of the season and actually his the first blown save of his career. He also took the loss, dropping his record to 5-4 and raising his ERA to 2.06.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
