4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Alex Reyes picked up his fourth win of the season in Tuesday's game against the Miami Marlins. Reyes came in to pitch the ninth inning of a tie game and provided a scoreless inning before Paul Goldschmidt and the Cardinals walked off in the bottom of the inning. Reyes allowed one walk and recorded a strikeout in his inning, lowering his sparkling ERA to 0.82 and improving his record to 4-2. He's been one of the most surprisingly effective closers in baseball this season.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
