7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Alex Reyes (elbow) pitched in an intrasquad game on Sunday. It was the first game-like action for Reyes, who is returning from Tommy John Surgery. He's been throwing live batting practice for a few weeks now, but this was his first time back on a mound in a somewhat competitive sense, even if it was against his own teammates. Reyes is expected to be ready around May 1 if he doesn't experience any setbacks, but he could be back sooner than that if St. Louis decides to use him out of the bullpen at first. Either way, he has excellent upside and should be owned in all formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
