4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Alex Reyes recorded his 16th save of the season in Tuesday's victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Reyes pitched a scoreless ninth inning, locking in a 3-2 win. As usual, it wasn't a clean inning for Reyes, who allowed a hit and a walk while recording a strikeout. His ERA sits at a ridiculous 0.62, but the 4.61 xFIP and 21% walk rate still raise an alarm. Maybe he'll keep getting away with it, but baseball history has shown that Reyes may be the premier sell-high candidate among all relief pitchers right now. It took an excellent game-ending catch from Tyler O'Neill to keep Reyes from blowing the save and taking a loss on Tuesday.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
