3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Alex Reyes picked up his 28th save of the season in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Reyes came in to pitch the ninth inning with a three run lead and escaped with a scoreless inning despite giving up two hits among his 13 pitches (10 strikes). Reyes has had a few blow up outings, but has overall had excellent results despite his lack of control. He's blown just two saves in 30 chances and will take a 2.43 ERA into his next appearance.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
