Alex Smith A Desperation Play At Quarterback
4 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Alex Smith has been one of the feel-good stories this season, but his fantasy production has lagged behind his solid overall play. Smith threw for 296 yards in last week's upset win in Pittsburgh but it took the veteran QB 46 pass attempts to hit that number. Despite the high passing volume, Smith found the end zone just once. In fact, Smith doesn't have a multi-touchdown game this season and sports an ugly 4:5 touchdown to interception ratio in six games. Smith is a desperation QB2 in two-quarterback formats for a touch matchup in San Francisco.
