Alex Smith Looking To Bounce Back In Detroit
4 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Alex Smith struggled in relief of Kyle Allen (ankle) last week, but will look to bounce back as the starting QB against the Lions. Head coach Ron Rivera announced Smith would start immediately after the quarterback tossed three interceptions in a Week 9 loss to the Giants. A full week of practice as the starter should help Smith, but not enough to trust him in fantasy. Smith offers almost no rushing upside after recovering from his broken leg and the lack of weapons gives him a lower floor for fantasy. He's a risky starter in two-quarterback leagues at best in fantasy for Week 10.
