6 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith tossed a seven-yard touchdown in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Giants, but that about spelled the end of his fantasy production for the day. His final line was 20 completions on 32 attempts for 178 yards and that lone touchdown. This marks the third consecutive week that Smith has thrown for fewer than 200 yards, and he still has yet to throw more than two touchdown passes in any contest. With the Redskins holding a commanding lead in the NFC East at 5-2, there is no reason to expect them to change what they've been doing. Smith's fantasy value will continue to be hurt by Washington's effective running game and defense.--Chris O'Reilly
