Alex Stalock, Wild Shut Out Vegas
5 years agoThe Minnesota Wild were an outstanding 3-for-5 on the power play Tuesday night, which boosted them to victory over the Vegas Golden Knights by a score of 4-0. Wild goalie Alex Stalock turned aside 26 shots to post the shutout. He’s now won five of his last six games and has allowed more than two goals just once during that stretch. Kevin Fiala led the offense with a goal and two assists. He’s been on fire lately and has 10 points in his last five games. Overall, he has 38 points in 51 games. Zach Parise had a goal and an assist in the win. Along with struggling on the penalty kill, Vegas was brutal on the power play and failed to muster many shots on net during their four attempts. Marc-Andre Fleury was yanked from the game after allowing four goals on 20 shots. The veteran goalie has posted save percentages of .853 or below in three of his last four games.
