3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo was one of the big offensive stars against the Baltimore Orioles Saturday, going 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored. Verdugo has finally gotten things going in August, slashing .412/.447/.618 in 34 at-bats. Of his nine games played in the month, he's had multiple hits in five of them. Verdugo does a bit of everything, and while his 11 homers and five steals have not met expectations, he's still worth a roster spot in all fantasy formats.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
