4 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners. It's just the third day off Verdugo has had this year, as he has gotten off to a great start by slashing .325/.371/.538 with three home runs, 13 RBI and two steals in 21 games. With Verdugo out, J.D. Martinez will make his third start of the year in the outfield, while Xander Bogaerts will slot in at the designated hitter spot.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
