Alex Verdugo Launches Long Home Run Sunday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo got the scoring started Sunday night, launching a very long home run off Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German. It was Verdugo's eight long-ball of the year, and his only hit in five at-bats in the game. Verdugo has been a very solid contributor all season long, and fantasy managers have to be very pleased with his cross-category success. He currently has eight homers, four steals, 36 runs, and 25 RBI as the regular two-hole batter in the Boston lineup.
