3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Alex Wood had a nice bounce-back start in Monday's 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks. Wood pitched six innings, allowing two runs on four hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with seven strikeouts. Wood's previous three starts had been relatively poor after a hot start to the season, so it is nice to see him getting back on the right track. He has been a fantasy asset this season with a 6-3 record and a 3.71 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 24% strikeout rate. He will look to keep things rolling in his next start against the Phillies at home.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
