5 years agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Alex Wood pitched well in a 5-2 win over the Atlanta Braves on Friday. Wood allowed just two runs on four hits over 6 2/3 innings while striking out five. The veteran southpaw has made just two starts this season after spending most of the year on the injured list with a back issue. He has fared well since being activated, posting a 1-0 record and 3.18 ERA over his 11 1/3 innings of work. Wood turned in some quality seasons as a Los Angeles Dodger and has the potential to help in fantasy if he can stay healthy. Up next is a matchup against the Chicago Cubs.--Matt T - RotoBaller
