3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Alex Wood took advantage of a favorable matchup in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Rockies. Wood pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The lefty has had a nice bounce-back season with the Giants, going 10-3 with a 4.14 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 24.7% strikeout rate. His next matchup will be at the A's in the Battle of the Bay. While the matchup is tougher, Wood has shown a high enough floor to warrant a start if fantasy managers feel comfortable with it.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
