3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Alex Wood picked up his ninth win of the season in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Pirates. Wood pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing a single run on five hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. The 30-year-old has been solid for the Giants and fantasy managers this season, posting a 3.65 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 26% strikeout rate.
