7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Alex Wood turned in another great start on Friday in a 5-2 win over the Mets. Wood pitched six innings, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk with seven strikeouts. The 27-year-old has not been as dominant fantasy-wise as he was last season but has been on a roll of late, turning in three straight starts with two runs allowed or less. He is now 3-5 with a 4.13 ERA, 75 strikeouts, and 16 walks in 80 2/3 innings pitched. Wood will look to extend his streak of strong starts Wednesday against the Cubs.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
