4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Alex Wood continues to work his way back to joining the big league club after throwing 30 pitches across two innings during a simulated game Thursday. Wood’s next step is to throw a bullpen session Saturday, after which there may be more clarity as to when he can rejoin the Dodgers. In his lone start this season, Wood yielded three runs in three innings. He has battled numerous injuries over the past two years, which have derailed his upward trajectory after having been named an All-Star in 2017 with LA. At this stage, he is likely a DFS upside pick or a two-start season-long option. Check back for an update on when Wood may be cleared to head back to the Major League roster.--Jesse Borek
