5 years agoDiamondbacks rookie Alex Young will get the start against Colorado on Sunday in the final game before the All-Star break according to Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic. Young has made two appearances with Arizona this year, as he allowed one run over five innings with five strikeouts in a start against the Giants and posted 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief against the Dodgers. This start could be a good streaming play to close out the week, as Rockies hitters are averaging just over 10 strikeouts per game over their last 10 games, and they are also striking out at a higher rate against left-handed starters (27.2 percent) than right-handed starters (22.2 percent). Young posted a 10.5 K/9 at Triple-A this year before his call-up, so owners looking for a last-minute boost in strikeouts should grab him off the waiver-wire.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
