3 years agoAlexandar Georgiev saved his best saves for overtime and in the shootout on Sunday. The New York Rangers goaltender stopped four of seven attempts in the shootout as Georgiev notched his second win of the season. The goalie stopped 24 of 27 shots during the first 65 minutes of action to lower his goals-against average under four. It had been a trying start to the season for the Bulgarian netminder. Maybe it was New Jersey on the back end of a back-to-back but the goaltender did look more comfortable as the game went on. The result was another win. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
