3 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison filled in admirably for the injured Dalvin Cook (ankle) during Sunday's narrow win over the Lions. The 23-year-old was all over the place in Week 5, compiling 113 yards off 25 carries. He also caught seven passes for 40 yards, with one of those receptions resulting in a trip to the end zone. Mattison has turned up the volume throughout his short tenure as the lead back in Minnesota. Still, it's certainly possible that Cook can make his way back for the Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
