Alexander Wells Takes Another Loss Tuesday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Alexander Wells struggled again in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Yankees. Wells pitched 4 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits (including three home runs) and a walk with three strikeouts. The 24-year-old has had pretty good minor-league numbers but has not seen that translate with the O's this season, going 1-3 with a 7.76 ERA and 1.91 WHIP. It is uncertain when his next start will be, but fantasy players should avoid him regardless at this time, even in dynasty leagues.
