6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Alfred Morris handled 16 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Rams. Jeffery Wilson (shoulder) exited early with an injury so the veteran Morris was pressed into duty. After being relegated to the bench during the season, Sunday was Morris’ best game all year. He punched it in from one yard in the third quarter. With the Niners fully committed to their youth, the future for Morris is bleak in red and gold. It’s likely he’ll be shopping for a new job come next training camp. With his best days behind him, Morris should hold minimal fantasy relevance as he winds down his career.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
