3 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Allen Hurns could be released this offseason. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, $2.5 million salary next season is guaranteed, and he's a toss-up at best to make the 53-man roster. If he's cut, the 30-year-old's cap hit drops from $3 million to $433,000. Hurns suffered a wrist injury that required surgery in August and missed the entire 2021 campaign. The veteran hasn't appeared in a game since 2019 after opting out of the 2020 season. Hurns could end up being a cap casualty and find himself searching for a new team this offseason.
