Allen Lazard Can Be Asset In Running Game
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard is currently competing to be the team's WR2 next to Davante Adams when the season begins. Lazard got off to a strong start last season, averaging 84.6 receiving yards a game through the first three games. But injuries brought his strong start to a crawl and finished the season with 477 yards and three touchdowns. Lazard is a critical part of the offense and also is the best run blocker among any of the wide receivers. Among 108 wide receivers graded, Lazard received the highest run-block grade (85.8) since 2019. The connection with Rodgers is obvious and Lazard could become a legitimate fantasy asset this season if he can stay on the field.
