4 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard (core) has been given the green light to take the field for Sunday's game versus Detroit. Lazard has missed time this year due to a core muscle injury, but has been able to suit up each of the past three weeks, reprising some of his previous fantasy value. Consistently viewed as WR2 for the Packers in the midst of an MVP-caliber season from Aaron Rodgers, Lazard will have solid fantasy appeal, particularly against a Lions Defense that has allowed at least 20 points in 11 of its 12 games this year. With each of Lazard's next three games coming against exploitable secondaries (Detroit, Carolina, Tennessee), fantasy managers eyeing a deep playoff run in season-long formats can grab Lazard and roll the dice on his heavy inclusion in the passing game.--Jesse Borek
