3 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson II will need to step up in Week 8 against the 49ers. It has been a putrid start for the soon-to-be free agent, posting only 23 receptions for 250 yards with only one touchdown through seven games this season. Robinson is a Pro Bowl-type receiver but the Bears offense has been so abysmal that it currently is averaging an NFL-worst 124 passing yards a game. The Bears will go up against a 49ers defense that is allowing the 14th fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers. WR1 receivers on other teams like D.K. Metcalf, Devante Adams, DeAndre Hopkins and Michael Pittman all have caught touchdowns against the 49ers this season and Robinson must follow suit. If he cannot deliver a glimmer of promise this week, fantasy teams may need to seriously consider benching/dropping Robinson moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
