4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was unstoppable in a Week 3 loss to Green Bay. Kamara picked up 58 rushing yards on six carries but was devastating as a receiver, catching 13 of 14 targets for 139 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The 25-year-old was so incredible as a pass-catcher that he would have finished as the WR1 in PPR formats (pending Monday night)- and not far behind in standard leagues. The absence of Michael Thomas (ankle) has clearly resulted in a huge receiving workload for Kamara. Make no mistake though, he looks healthy and explosive and could easily finish as the top scorer at the running back position in both formats even with Thomas back in the lineup. He'll get a Week 4 matchup against the Lions, who have been bad at defending running backs for over a year now.--Tim Capurso
