Alvin Kamara Tops 100 Scrimmage Yards Against Chargers
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara exceeded 100 scrimmage yards for the fourth consecutive game in a 30-27 win over the Chargers. Kamara picked up 45 rushing yards on 11 carries and caught eight of 10 targets for 74 receiving yards, including a juggling, 28-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that led to a game-tying score. It was the first game without a touchdown for the 25-year-old, though he currently has seven total touchdowns after tallying just six all of last season. Kamara is the RB1 heading into a Week 6 bye, despite not going over the 100-yard rushing mark this season. That appears likely to change in Week 7 against a Panthers Defense that has been gashed on the ground this year.
