Alvin Kamara's Hearing Moved To August
3 years agoA hearing scheduled for Monday in the battery case against New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been moved to Aug. 1. Justice of the Peace Harmony Letizia said the court needed more time to review surveillance video and other evidence before proceeding with the case. Kamara told the police that he threw "a couple punches, thinking the guy was running away" after an altercation with several men. All four men involved in the incident the night before the Pro Bowl face a felony charge. Kamara, 26, finished last year with 240 carries for 898 yards and four touchdowns, also adding 47 catches on 67 targets for 439 yards and five more TDs. He's an RB1 in fantasy, but the prospect of an in-season suspension could affect his draft value this fall.
