4 years agoAmanda Ribas (10-2) came into the contest on Saturday 3-0 inside the UFC, including a decision victory over Mackenzie Dern. Unfortunately for Ribas, she was unable to keep that streak going, dropping a second-round TKO stoppage to Marina Rodriguez. In almost 10 minutes of action, Ribas was only able to reel off seven significant strikes, but she mustered 35 total strikes due to her ground control for the majority of the first round. Ribas is still an amazing competitor to keep an eye on and will continue to rise up in the division over time.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
