Amari Cooper Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

2 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is hoping to turn the squeaky wheel metaphor into a reality in a Week 16 matchup against the Washington Football Team. Cooper has been in a slump, along with the entire Cowboys passing game. In a radio appearance earlier in the week, he very diplomatically demanded more targets, saying specifically that he wants to be more involved on third downs and red-zone plays. He's been averaging under five targets and three catches over his past five games, but is seemingly in a good spot this week with the Washington defense unlikely to slow the Cowboys passing attack. Cooper checks in near the WR2/3 borderline but has some upside in case he gets the grease.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
