Amed Rosario Exits Early On Monday
4 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario exited Monday’s contest against the Braves early with a leg injury. It appears that the shortstop injured himself by running out of the box in the top of the third inning. Rosario was a sleeper on many boards this offseason, but has struggled early on with a .244 batting average. The shortstop finishes the game 1-for-2 and was replaced in the lineup by infielder Luis Guillorme. If Rosario misses time, Andres Gimenez would be the next man up. Gimenez could be left on the waiver wire for now. More should be known on Rosario's injury as the evening goes on.
