6 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario is absent from Saturday's lineup against the Brewers. The day off is likely just a breather for the 22-year-old, who has not exactly had the best season thus far fantasy-wise. Rosario was a hyped-up post-Super 2 call-up last season who has disappointed in his official rookie year. Rosario's .253/.276/.656 slash line and one steal in five attempts leaves a lot to be desired. Mets fans were sick of seeing Jose Reyes regularly start at shortstop and certainly got an improvement in Rosario. Reyes has accumulated a -0.6 wins above replacement in 2018, while Rosario has only accumulated a -0.4 WAR.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
