7 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario (knee, groin) finally got back into the lineup over the weekend and fortunately, it sounds as if all went well. After missing some time due to knee and groin soreness, Rosario played the field and ran without issue. In his return, Rosario slapped a double to left field to start off the game and sped into second base seamlessly without pain. He followed that up by playing five innings on Sunday and is now ready to resume playing on a daily basis. Assuming his previous soreness doesn’t creep back up, Rosario will be fine for Opening Day.--John Smith
