Amed Rosario Remains Sidelined With Quad Injury
4 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario (quad) is absent from Tuesday’s contest versus the Washington Nationals. Rosario was lifted in Monday’s contest after he injured his quad when he was running out of the batter’s box. Rosario underwent a MRI on Tuesday and more should be known on when he will return after those results. Shortstop Andres Gimenez will take over for Rosario on Tuesday and bat in the number eight spot. Gimenez will have a tough matchup versus Nationals starter Patrick Corbin and can be ignored in all formats for now.
