Amed Rosario Stays Hot

6 years agoMets shortstop Amed Rosario was a driving force in Sunday's win against the Phillies. Rosario went 3-for-5 and drove in three runs, upping his RBI total on the week to eight. This was Rosario's third multi-hit game in four days (due to the doubleheader) and it might be time to transition from calling this a hot-streak to a legit turnaround on the season. The young shortstop had been catching a lot of flack from Mets fans and fantasy owners for his lack of production throughout the year, however, with his transition from the bottom of the order to the leadoff spot, legit production has followed. Rosario still has trouble getting on base at a good enough clip for OBP leagues, but for AVG leagues he is trending towards must-add territory with his recent production.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
