Amed Rosario Triples Twice In Loss
6 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario hasn’t had the best 2018, but every once in a while he gives us a flash of what made him one of the top prospects in all of baseball. In the a 7-3 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday, Rosario finished 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs scored, and one RBI. The three hits tied a career-best for the 22-year-old. Regardless, even with the three hits, that still only gives him four base knocks in his last eight games. On the season he’s slashing a bad .242/.286/.368 (.654 OPS) with four home runs, four triples, 14 doubles, 31 runs scored, 22 RBI, and four stolen bases. We wouldn’t bet on him becoming an everyday fantasy player just yet, but the talent is clearly there to do so.
