6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Ameer Abdullah has become an afterthought in offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter's weekly scheme behind rookie Kerryon Johnson, LeGarrette Blount and Theo Riddick, making him a trade candidate. Abdullah has yet to see a carry this season and was a healthy scratch on game days for the entire month of September. He's set to be a free agent next year, too.
