6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Ameer Abdullah is on thin ice in regards to his role as a feature back in Detroit. Lions general manager Bob Quinn spoke to reporters on Thursday and said that Abdullah will need to come in and prove himself to a new group of coaches this season. Quinn has mentioned bringing in another running back in the past as well, so Abdullah's days may be numbered. From a fantasy perspective, he is not worth drafting unless it is clear he will get the lion's share of the carries in Detroit. Otherwise, he is best left alone come draft day in standard-sized leagues.--patton
