Amir Garrett Leaves Game Early
7 years agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Amir Garrett left Tuesday's game after getting hit on the left knee by a grounder off the bat of Ender Inciarte. Garrett threw just six pitches, logging just one-third of an inning. The Reds got good news, however, as X-rays on Garrett's left leg came back negative. He has been diagnosed with a lower leg contusion and can be considered day-to-day for now. Garrett has posted a 2.59 ERA and 15 holds this season.
