Anders Nilsson, Craig Anderson Trampled In Windy City
6 years agoOttawa Senators goaltender Anders Nilsson allowed four goals on 12 shots through 13:22 in his start Monday in Chicago and he was pulled in favor of Craig Anderson. His replacement allowed four goals on 30 shots in a wild 8-7 road loss. The Senators will have a couple of days to regroup before they take to the ice again on Thursday in New Jersey. Anderson actually ended up taking the loss, as the Senators were able to tie the game briefly in the second period after Nilsson departed. Anderson slipped to 14-18-3 with a 3.59 goals-against average and .903 save percentage.
