Andre Pallante To Start Game 2 Of Doubleheader
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals rookie right-hander Andre Pallante will make his first major league start against the division-rival Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader. Pallante has been one of the team's most pleasant surprises as a bridge reliever. The 23-year-old right-hander has allowed only three earned runs on 25 hits while striking out 18 and walking 10 in 25 1/3 innings over his first 17 relief appearances so far this year. The numbers look nice, but he does have a 3.42 FIP and hasn't gone more than 3 1/3 innings in any of his outings this year, so he'll be a pretty shaky fantasy streamer in his first big-league start against Chicago.
