3 years agoFormer Minnesota Vikings assistant head coach and co-defensive coordinator Andre Patterson is being hired on Thursday as the defensive line coach for the New York Giants, according to a source. Patterson was with the Vikings under head coach Mike Zimmer for the last eight seasons. He served as the defensive line coach from 2014-19 before adding co-defensive coordinator to his title in 2020 and assistant head coach in 2021. Patterson has also coached the defensive line for the New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos. In his new position, Patterson will be working under defensive coordinator Don "Wink" Martindale, who was let go by the Baltimore Ravens after the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
